After School Care - YMCA
The YMCA of Greater Houston will provide an after-school program at the West Orem Family YMCA, in partnership with the Houston ISD Sunrise Center, for parents who need this service. Registration forms will be available at the West Orem Family YMCA, 5801 W. Orem Drive, Houston, TX 77085. Hours for this program are from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Students will gather with YMCA staff members and walk next door to the West Orem YMCA at dismissal time.
At the YMCA site, participants will benefit from:
- Academic enrichment and themed enrichment clubs
- Nutritious meals provided by the Houston Food Bank
- Access to highly subsidized after-school care through the YMCA partnership
